Originally from Afghanistan, Asif fled his homeland due to the ongoing exposure to war, conflict and persecution. Asif arrived in Australia alone, at just sixteen years of age. Despite the unimaginable hardship Asif has faced, he has learnt to thrive with a sense of wisdom and gratitude. Asif offers a powerful and moving talk that touches on topics relating to hope, gratitude, and resilience.
